Top Banana is excited to announce that we have been shortlisted for Best Internal Live Event at the CorpComms Awards 2017. This is the 5th shortlist for Top Banana this year after winning Gold at EVCOM Live Awards and being shortlisted in both C&IT and IoIC, including Best Agency.
Corp Comms Awards, organised by Corp Comms Magazine, recognises excellence from across the communications industry, from internal communications to public sector campaigns. Top Banana have been shortlisted for our work with Whitbread Restaurants to deliver a large-scale event for more than 1,000 general Managers, Kitchen Managers and In-Restaurant Trainers from Whitbread’s 410 restaurants recognising the kitchen is the engine room in every restaurant and the teams really are the main ingredient.
Head of Restaurant Central Operations for Whitbread, Nicola Withington said “Kitchen’s of Excellence really recognises the fantastic teams, technical skills and passion we have within our restaurant business. Since launching the annual event, we’ve seen heightened engagement from our kitchen teams, improved business standard and real focus on our purpose to ‘Serve up Great Memories’, giving every guest the best possible experience, so they come back again and again.”
Top Banana are super proud of their growing relationship with Whitbread Restaurants, delivering the Kitchen of Excellence event for 2 consecutive years and really seeing the measurable results the “Serving up great memories” programme has had across the business.
Account Director Jemma Peers comments: “We’re really chuffed to be shortlisted for the work we’ve done with Whitbread. They were a great team to work with – always open to new ideas and keen to find ways to do things better. We work tirelessly to deliver live events that originate from the strategic vision and are part of the greater communication journey.”
