The Magic of Scotland.

Scotland is fast becoming one of the top destinations for incentives and events, with an ever-growing portfolio of new venues, as well as some historical showstoppers and countless ‘wow’ activities. Now we want to share some of our favourite spots to inspire your next adventure in this awesome country, so here are our top picks…

Edinburgh

Edinburgh – a thriving and unique city that’s the perfect location for adventure due to the countless opportunities for out of the ordinary activities and challenging experiences to tantalise delegates. It can now be reached in a mere 4 hours on the LNER train running from Kings Cross to Edinburgh or a 1 hour 20 flight from Birmingham and London airports.

As well as being a UNSECO world heritage site, Edinburgh has a thriving art scene filled with a café culture and young creative feel. The city appreciates small independent businesses and it’s clear how hosting the fringe festival year on year has added to the artistic vibrancy of this capital. This makes it the perfect place for events that want to encourage and creatively drive delegates as you can’t help but feel inspired by the city and its people.

Here are some of the activities we’ve planned for delegates when we’ve visited the city…

A private Highland Games at Winton Castle

Winton House is a historic house set in rolling countryside and is only a stone’s throw from Edinburgh. They host a range of activities perfect for a country incentive getaway including 4 x 4 driving, quad biking, bush craft and one of our favourites – a miniature highland games.  With the possibility to fully brand the space and some fantastic BBQ food options – we think this is a great spot to give delegates a taste of Scotland and it’s heritage.

Host a Ceilidh at Edinburgh Castle

A Ceilidh is a traditional Scottish event that features live music, dancing and a whole lot of fun. We’ve recently had private hire of Edinburgh Castle where we hosted a Ceilidh, that also featured a performance by the Red-Hot Chili Pipers – dubbed the most famous bagpipe band on the planet! This is the perfect spot to wow delegates and with private hire of the entire castle available – we’ve been able to spoil employees with an open bar, an exclusive viewing of Scotland’s Crown Jewels and a private DJ.  The perfect location to celebrate Scottish heritage and bond delegates in a space that can be fully branded and tailored to clients.

Gleneagles

Gleneagles sits in the middle of rolling Scottish countryside approximately 1 hour away from both Glasgow and Edinburgh. First opened in 1924, the hotel has recently been refurbished to impeccable standards – making it a modern, designed venue that holds heaps of opportunities for incentive trips. With off road driving, falconry, archery and horseback riding available; delegates can also be treated to a round on one of the country’s top golf courses, the PG Centenary, that has previously held the Ryder Cup and Solheim cup in 2019.

As well as 2 Michelin stars, a luxury spa and its very own train station that can be reached from London in 5 hours – Glen Eagles is a piece of paradise, tailor made for incentive programmes.

Adventure on the Jacobite Steam Train

Starting at the foot of Ben Nevis, the Jacobite Steam Train travels along the legendary West Highland Line and takes you on a journey through some of the most beautiful landscapes in the UK – as well as the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct featured in Harry Potter.

With a great first-class carriage and catering options on board, including afternoon tea packages, this can easily be turned into a personalised, private tour of Scotland’s landscape and an awesome day out for delegates.

Whether it’s an event in the city or a Scottish incentives trip that packs in all the highlights, get in touch with the team and we can share what we’ve done for clients in this fantastic country and more importantly, show you how we’ll make your trip one to remember.
