We’ve won the award for Best Product Launch at the recent EVCom awards for a brand refresh events for a global drinks company.
Our Creative Director and co-founder, Richard Bridge, said: “We’re really pleased to have been recognised for the work we’ve done with this prestigious client. There were a lot of complexities to overcome … including transforming a vast bottling plant into a working auditorium with tiered seating, rigging for all AV equipment and a massive 20m-wide screen and projection mapped floor.”
“We were challenged with delivering two consecutive events on one day. This was the first time employees heard about the new plans ahead of the media, key stakeholders and trade partners, who attended a second event later the same day. This ignited a real sense of excitement within the team at the client company, who were able to really immerse themselves in the brand and feel part of the business strategy.”
To capture the audience’s imagination and build a clear picture of what the newly refreshed brand was all about, the event included three exciting live reveals; the rebranded bottle packaging, the newly created ‘hero serve’ and the spectacular launch of the 2016 Racing F1 car complete with drivers.
Jade Langston, Senior Account Manager at Top Banana commented “After the live reveals, the audience were invited to sample the “hero serve” themselves. To really immerse the audience into the brand identity and heritage, we used projection mapping to create a typical Italian street scene on stage, complete with a cobbled street and sunset for the audience to enjoy their “aperitivo moment”.
As one of the main goals of the events was to get maximum exposure for the new brand in the media, the world’s press was invited to the launch event, resulting in an audience of some 700 million people across press, online and broadcast media.
