Top Banana World Wide.

FAM trips are something that our Top Banana bunch have been really busy with lately! Between them, our staff have been to four countries and two continents in the last two months alone. From bungee jumping at Sentosa Singapore, learning the art of Graffiti in Lisbon, racing to Rotterdam in the Netherlands and cycling through Bangkok – each experience has culturally and commercially immersed our Top Bananas in the best that the location has to offer.

Marc Hazelden, Account Director, was lucky enough to visit Singapore and comments “I’ve had limited exposure to the far east and as Singapore is renowned for being an exceptional destination for events and incentives, I had to take-up the opportunity. It’s always come highly recommended as a place to visit and the mix of culture and cosmopolitan life is so harmonious and vibrant.” Read more about Marc’s experiences and thoughts on Singapore here

While in contrast Polly Rogers, Venues Sourcing Specialist, experienced the sights of the Netherlands and quotes “To be able to experience two cities in one trip is fantastic, Rotterdam and The Hague can offer so much as event locations that differ to the more obvious tourist locations in the Netherlands such as Amsterdam. Both cities find a balance between culture and city life that is really unique.”

More than just a trip, travelling to these destinations has allowed for a greater understanding and view of parts of the world Top Banana are yet to see. As Top Banana have recently expanded into to the incentives travel market – these locations are fantastic to experience for us to consider as options for future client programmes; something which Ian Cooke noticed when away.

“There are huge opportunities for both incentive and conference travel in Thailand. Both Bangkok and Ko Samui have an abundance of quality and flexible hotels to suit all nature of events, with some of the most friendly and welcoming people I’ve ever met. From a Tuk Tuk treasure hunt team challenge around Bangkok to a beach clean-up and quad bike jungle tour in Koh Samui; there is something for everyone and constant wow moments”.

Special thanks to Sana Hotels and Abreu (DMC), Singapore Tourist Board, Qantas, Destination Asia, TCEB (Thailand Conference and Exhibition Bureau), The Hague Convention Bureau and Rotterdam Partners for giving these opportunities to the Top Banana bunch.
